About the role

Our client, a national and highly-respected AmLaw200 law firm, is seeking to add a Complex Commercial Litigation Associate to their group. This is an incredible opportunity to work on complex commercial litigation matters, providing legal advice and representation to a diverse portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal and state court systems, a knack for legal writing, and a proven track record in handling substantive motions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of commercial litigation including research, drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, and trial preparation.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and representation to clients in complex commercial disputes.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent client service at all times.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure successful case outcomes.
  • Stay updated with the latest legal developments and changes in laws applicable to commercial litigation.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in the state.
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
  • Experience in federal and state court litigation.
  • Exceptional legal writing skills with an ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of resolving complex legal disputes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism.

Pay

$200,000 - $300,000 per year
