Commercial Litigation Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support all stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Draft briefs, pleadings, and memoranda with a high degree of precision and strategic insight.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and contribute to case strategy and client communications.
• Work closely with partners on contract, fraud, fiduciary duty, and merger-related disputes.
• Gain exposure to cybersecurity and data privacy litigation, with opportunities for cross-practice collaboration.

Who You Are

• Class years 2018–2023 from a top-tier law firm.
• Experience in commercial litigation with strong writing, research, and advocacy skills.
• Exposure to cybersecurity or data privacy disputes is advantageous but not essential.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Admitted to the Illinois Bar (or eligible for admission).

Compensation

Salary Range: Competitive market rate (estimated $225,000 – $390,000 DOE)
