Commercial Lines Product Intern (hybrid/remote opportunity)

Location: Columbus, OH (hybrid/remote) Work Schedule: 10-15 hours per week Duration: 6 months (flexible start date, at earliest possible date) Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Commercial Lines Products team. This internship offers hands-on experience in the commercial insurance industry, providing exposure to product development, market analysis, and underwriting strategy. What You’ll Be Doing: Assist in the research, development, and maintenance of commercial lines insurance products (e.g., general liability, commercial property, workers' compensation, business auto)Assist with building and maintaining rating worksheets in Excel to support product pricing and analysisHelp prepare product documentation, rate filings, and coverage formsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including underwriting, actuarial, claims, and complianceContribute to various special projects and initiatives What You’ll Bring To The Company: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentInterest in the insurance industry and commercial lines products About Us: Grange Insurance Company, with $3.4 billion in assets and more than $1.61 billion in annual revenue, is an insurance provider founded in 1935 and based in Columbus, Ohio.
