Commercial Lines Insurance Specialist
About the Role
The Commercial Lines Specialist provides quotes to prospective customers, discusses options, and consults with customers to meet their insurance needs. This role is responsible for building relationships and producing insurance sales.
Responsibilities
- Follow up with prospects – leads provided
- Quote and sell policies
- Protect the best interests of both clients and insurance company partners
- Follow up and see tasks through to completion
- Appropriately document contact opportunities
- Act with professionalism, balancing a sales and service mindset
Qualifications
- Licensed – Active Property & Casualty License required
- Insurance Experience – Prior commercial insurance experience required
- Multi-tasking – Ability to manage different projects in a fast-paced environment
- Communication – Clear and calm speaking/writing skills, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Organization – Ability to plan and operate in a well-organized manner
- Team Oriented – Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude
