About the role

Deland, Gibson is a fourth-generation, family-owned independent insurance agency serving businesses and families across Massachusetts and New England since 1900. Our Franklin office, Keefe Insurance, brings the same local, relationship-first approach to clients in Franklin, MetroWest, and surrounding communities. Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of primarily SBU commercial accounts, advising clients on coverages and risk-reduction strategies
  • Work closely with producers, internal teams, and carrier partners to deliver coverage that fits
  • Handle policy changes and coverage questions, staying current on rates, forms, and carrier guidelines
  • Maintain a high level of communication and build genuine, lasting relationships with clients
  • Accurately input and maintain client data in our agency management system
  • Monitor the full policy life cycle for your book, catching issues and renewal opportunities early
  • Support the agency's mission, values, and strategic initiatives as part of a close-knit team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management
  • Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty license
  • Experience in risk assessment, policy analysis, coverage placement, and collaborating with carriers to secure competitive terms and comprehensive protection for clients across a variety of industries
  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships, provide strategic insurance solutions, coordinate renewals, market coverage programs, and ensure exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering tailored insurance solutions that support clients' business objectives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Applied Epic is a plus

  • Ability to analyze risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage
