About the role

OneDigital is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Commercial Lines Account Manger to service existing clients and help develop new client relationships. This role serves as an important business contact for the client and is responsible for client success and satisfaction.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Build Strong relationships with clients to maintain existing business and to acquire new accounts by consistently providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service.
  • Process New and Renewal business, endorsement requests, certificates of insurance.
  • Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and relevance.
  • Correspond in a professional manner with insurance companies and clients to update, obtain or verify necessary information for account servicing.
  • Accurately answer client questions about their insurance coverages and needs.
  • Accurately answer insurance company underwriting questions about client accounts.
  • Assist with Claims processing when applicable.
  • Assist with Marketing when applicable.
  • Keep informed about new coverages and products.
  • Handle tasks in a manner which comply with the agency’s quality control standards.
  • Continue to look for opportunities to make new sales and cross-sell when in contact with clients.

Other Responsibilities

  • Enroll in annual Continuing Education to stay updated on changes within the insurance industry.
  • Pursue a program of personal and professional development.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A current Property and Casualty Insurance License is required.
  • A high school diploma, two years of college or two years experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
  • Strong respect for confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Strong Time Management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and analyze insurance coverages, forms and policies.
  • Ability to work directly with clients and team members.
  • Background in real estate insurance risk required, including multi-family, office, industrial, and retail.
  • Open to AI integration in day to day work flow.
  • Proficient at working through property allocations and Statement of Values.

Pay

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $85,000 to $90,000 per year. Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
