About the role

The Commercial Lines Account Executive will join a team of five full-time employees and one part-time team member, reporting directly to Jim. This individual will play a key role in supporting commercial insurance clients, managing accounts, and delivering outstanding customer service throughout the policy lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is a polished, professional insurance industry professional with prior commercial lines experience and a strong commitment to client satisfaction. An active Property & Casualty Insurance License is strongly preferred.

Location: West Sayville, NY
Fully onsite position with limited work-from-home flexibility available during weather-related closures or emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients and provide exceptional customer service
  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts
  • Assist clients with policy servicing, renewals, endorsements, certificates, and coverage-related inquiries
  • Communicate effectively with insurance carriers, clients, and internal team members to resolve issues and facilitate policy transactions
  • Review policies and documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness
  • Support additional account management and administrative responsibilities as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Commercial Lines Account Executive, Commercial Lines Account Manager, or similar commercial insurance role required
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Polished and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with standard office technology and agency management systems preferred

Pay

$65,000 – $80,000 annually, depending on experience and licensing
