Commercial Lending Loan Administrator I
About the role
This role involves delivering exceptional service to customers, internal partners, and the lending team. The primary responsibility is to take ownership of the end-to-end loan process by booking approved direct/indirect ODLs, consumer and commercial loans.
Responsibilities
- Accurately review, input, and book personal and commercial loans into the core system.
- Efficiently process ODL contracts and manage ongoing loan advances.
- Conduct essential due diligence, including verifying entity documentation, confirming existing bank security, and validating collateral ownership.
- Prepare professional notes, guarantees, and specific collateral documents for diverse loan types.
- Set up new loan files and maintain the Document Management System with a high level of proficiency and organization.
- Initiate commercial wire transfers, research account issues, and personally guide commercial customers through their loan documentation.
- Generate and review departmental reports to ensure operational compliance and accuracy.
Requirements
A High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of one year of Commercial Lending experience is required. Experience with Horizon, NextGen, and customer service is preferred.
Qualifications
Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, and outside bank personnel. Communicate Orally. Normal daily physical activities include walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to read reports and use a computer. Occasionally will lift 20-30 pounds (files, cash drawer, etc.).

Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
