Commercial Lender

Responsibilities

• Call on existing customers to secure relationships and search for new opportunities within our current customer base.
• The goal is to deepen existing relationships with current customers while also seeking referrals.
• Call on prospective customers to secure new relationships for the bank.
• The goal is to add new customers across all lines of business.
• Be involved in community functions and civic organizations.
• The goal is to be a good ambassador for the bank and be active in the communities we serve.
• Obtain all necessary financial data to make decisions on loans and terms within lending limits.
• Work with other lenders on larger credits.
• Work with customers to close loans as needed.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree required. Commercial lending and/or credit analyst experience preferred. Prior banking/financial services experience required.
• Prioritize strong community involvement and/or reside in the market served.
