Commercial Insurance Specialist - Redstone Insurance Services

About the role

Serves as Commercial Insurance Agent for Redstone Services Group by providing sales and service of Property & Casualty insurance products to members for new and existing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional image and demeanor at all times consistently demonstrating Agency PREPARED Core Values and adhering to the Agency Code of Ethics.
• Delivers friendly, caring service to internal and external members.
• Makes presentations to members; assesses their needs and concerns; explains features and merits of commercial insurances policies offered; recommends amount and type of coverage based on analysis of member's circumstances.
• Develops and executes a plan to expand commercial client base and obtain new client accounts.
• Provides professional risk management advice regarding available products and services.
• Documents and processes requests for new products and services, including, but not limited to; calculating and quoting premium rates; completing applications, collecting premiums to bind coverage, and determining payment methodology.
• Aids policyholders with commercial insurance claims, changes, and renewing or upgrading accounts.
• Provides immediate follow up on referrals and with existing clients to insure client satisfaction with program and insurance products.
• Provides insurance referral training and works with the Investment Executives to promote financial planning strategies.
• Complies with all applicable regulatory requirements, Agency and Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of all member information.
• Completes training and self-study to achieve and maintain required knowledge of Agency and Credit Union products, services and overall operations.
• Completes required on-line regulatory and compliance training, on a semi-annual basis, including but not limited to; Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering and USA Patriot Act.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 3 years Commercial Insurance Industry experience
• AL P&C Insurance License
• TN P&C Insurance License

Qualifications

• Education / Experience: High School Diploma, 3 years Commercial Insurance Industry experience
• Special Training, Licenses and/or Certificates Required: AL P&C Insurance License, TN P&C Insurance License
