Responsibilities
- Possess the ability to prospect, develop, propose, and bind new business
- Actively pursue new customer prospects through telemarketing, networking, and personal referrals
- Renew existing customers annually
- Absorb and collect required coverage information and necessary deposits and renewal premiums
- Maintain proper documentation for existing and prospective customers
- Oversee all aspects of new customer relationships in coordination with the assigned account manager
- Support and drive cross-selling strategies for both existing customers and new relationships
- Foster and build relationships with teammates across all levels of Brown & Brown
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and corporate policies and procedures
- Attend training sessions and courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills
- Conduct all business with the highest level of confidentiality
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty license, or willingness to obtain within 60 days
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience
Qualifications
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and ability to maintain minimum required insurance coverages
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Licenses & Certifications: Active Property & Casualty license, or willingness to obtain within 60 days
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience
