About the Role

Trucker Path Insurance (TPI) is a fast-growing, specialized insurance agency serving truckers, owner-operators, and fleet trucking companies. We're building a national sales team of talented insurance and sales professionals who want to grow their careers, develop deep expertise in a high-value niche, and maximize earnings. The right candidate will understand clients' risk exposure and deliver tailored commercial insurance solutions. This role offers uncapped earning potential where income genuinely reflects effort.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a mix of inbound leads and targeted outbound outreach to build lasting client relationships and grow a personal book of business.
  • Work directly with truckers, owner-operators, and small fleet managers to understand their business and match them with the right commercial insurance coverage.
  • Consult with prospects to identify coverage needs and gaps.
  • Quote and present solutions across commercial auto, cargo, occupational accident, and trucking liability.
  • Manage your pipeline with focus and follow-through.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to sharpen your approach and hit your goals.
  • Stay current on market conditions, coverage changes, and industry requirements with support from our training team.

Work Location

You’ll be based out of our Phoenix, AZ office in the Warehouse District of Downtown Phoenix—a 17,000-square-foot space designed for collaboration. This is an in-office role requiring five days a week to ensure real-time collaboration and coaching.

Pay

  • Base Salary: $65,000
  • Monthly Commission: Uncapped — paid on every dollar starting at Day 1
  • First-Year OTE Potential: $95,000 – $125,000+ for strong performers

Onboarding and Growth

All new producers begin with a structured onboarding and training program designed to provide thorough grounding in our products, systems, and the trucking industry while you work your pipeline. You’ll receive full support to ensure you’re ready to succeed from day one.

Requirements

  • 2 - 4+ years of sales experience in Commercial Trucking Insurance.
  • Active P&C license.
  • Consultative approach — you listen, ask good questions, and match solutions to needs.
  • Coachable and motivated by continuous improvement.
  • Confident and efficient navigating multiple databases, systems, and platforms simultaneously.
  • Genuine interest in building a long-term career in insurance sales.
  • Familiarity with commercial trucking, FMCSA requirements, or DOT filings is a plus but not required.
