Commercial Insurance Marketing Analyst

About the role
As a Marketing Analyst on the Commercial Lines team, you’ll support Producers, Marketing Account Executives, Marketing Specialists, Client Account Executives, and other team members in the preparation and execution of marketing and placement of insurance coverages for new and renewal business. Key responsibilities include:
- Quoting and rating various insurance programs for multiple carriers
- Comparing coverages, terms, and conditions of quotes
- Creating and transmitting submissions to carriers
- Preparing proposals and processing binder requests
- Building and growing relationships with clients, carrier representatives, and teammates
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Relevant insurance industry education, training, or experience
- Property and Casualty insurance license
- Basic insurance knowledge with a strong desire to learn and achieve designations such as Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), INS, Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive business relationships
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent education and/or experience
- Insurance industry certifications in addition to necessary license
- Significant prior insurance industry experience and knowledge of carriers and markets
