Commercial Insurance Inspector- (Portland, OR.)

Job Description

EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors with excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and a commitment to meeting client quality and timeliness standards. Contractors will work from home or an office, performing field inspections and risk control services in the Portland, OR area and other locations within approximately 45 miles.

Responsibilities

• Schedule on-site surveys
• Provide risk control reports to insurance industry clients
• Evaluate businesses for Property and General Liability coverage
• Identify hazards and improve safety
• Mitigate risks for insurance company clients
• Service other commercial insurance lines of business including Workers Compensation, Auto/Fleet, Products Liability, Inland Marine, and Builders Risk

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim, loss control, underwriting, and fire and safety
• All interested candidates encouraged to submit qualifications
• Can refer to a 15-hour online certification option for those without experience
