Job Summary

As a Commercial HVAC Install Mechanic, you will play a key role in installing and retrofitting HVAC systems for our commercial clients. You’ll work alongside a team of professionals to deliver high-quality installations while ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units (5–100 tons), split systems, ductless, and VRF systems
• Perform system retrofits and replacements
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings
• Fabricate and install sheet metal components
• Safely use, maintain, and care for tools and equipment
• Complete installations using proper methods (bolting, hanging, soldering, brazing, etc.)
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Able to follow directions and work independently or on a team
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• EPA (CFC) Certification preferred
• Trade school or apprenticeship training preferred
• Journeyman or Master license is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Willingness to work occasional overtime or extended hours as needed

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
• The employee is frequently required to use hands and arms, climb or balance, or crawl.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
