Job Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves supporting key dealers and the sales team within the Northeastern New Jersey market, handling customer inquiries, and driving add-on sales opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide superior engagement for sales follow-up and customer service to both external and internal customers.
- Support the Commercial Rooftop customer sales phone/order queue.
- Aid in maintaining and following up on open customer orders and sales support.
- Offer technical post-sale support to the sales organization, including monitoring shipping, delivery, and return status.
- Handle incoming customer requests for orders and product information.
- Work with customers, sales, and internal/external suppliers to resolve issues as they arise.
- Support warranty claims and questions for customers.
- Collaborate with the Warranty Team to address customer claims and questions.
- Demonstrate technology and tool adoption within customer groups and sales channels, utilizing WATSCO Ventures technology suite (Easy Stock, On Call Air, House call Pro, Credit for Comfort), eComm tools (Website and Mobile App, Salesforce), and Contractor Assist (Pick-up Express).
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates or technical degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of customer call center/order entry experience.
- 1-3 years of HVAC commercial/residential industry experience.
- Highly motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal direction required from management.
- High sense of urgency, team-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills.
- PC and common software literacy required.
- Desire to succeed and learn for future growth and development.
- Excellent customer relations and customer service skills.
- Ability to actively problem-solve and innovate when information is not readily available.
- Fast-paced environment and excellent organizational skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, complete with ability to follow through.
- Knowledge of the HVAC industry, including replacement configurations, substitutions, and sell-up strategies, is highly desired.
