Commercial & Industrial Service/Installation Technician

About the role

The Commercial & Industrial Service/Installation Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the proper installation and service of Culligan's products and systems for customers. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality Culligan service.

Responsibilities

• Install and service products and systems at commercial, industrial, and residential customer locations
• Test and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functionality
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and safety protocols
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Communicate effectively to explain installation processes and answer questions
• Provide technical support to customers during and after installations
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of installed products and systems
• Provide basic technical guidance to customers
• Aid and/or provide training to coworkers and other departments
• Maintain accurate records of installations and troubleshooting steps, including pictures
• Operate service vehicles safely; adhere to safe driver policies and complete required vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Load, unload, and secure service vehicles as required

Requirements

• In-depth commercial plumbing, reverse osmosis, and water softener installation experience
• Industrial equipment including ultraviolet lights, softeners, and chemical injection
• Professional level interaction with clients in the commercial and industrial level of manufacturing
• Ability to write reports on equipment and water quality
• Valid Driver’s License
• At least 18 years of age and able to pass and maintain an acceptable driving record check
• Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle daily for approximately 8-10 hours
• Pass criminal background check and drug screening checks, as well as any ongoing screenings per company requirements
• Physically capable of performing the duties required of this position

Qualifications

• Must have in-depth commercial plumbing, reverse osmosis, and water softener installation experience
• Industrial equipment including ultraviolet lights, softeners, and chemical injection
• Must be able to work at a professional level with clients in the commercial and industrial level of manufacturing
• Must be able to write reports on equipment and water quality
• Must maintain a valid Driver’s License
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older, and must be able to successfully pass, and maintain, an acceptable driving record check to be insurable by the company to operate a company vehicle
• Must be able to safely operate a commercial vehicle daily for approximately 8-10 hours
• Must be able to successfully pass criminal background check and drug screening checks, as well as any ongoing screenings per company requirements
• Must remain physically capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, of performing the duties required of this position
