Commercial/Industrial Electrician

About the role

Industrial Electricians are responsible for the installation and repair of electrical systems in industrial spaces. This includes testing, troubleshooting, and replacing electrical components to ensure systems function safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Testing and troubleshooting systems.
• Installing, repairing, and servicing electrical systems.
• Interpreting blueprints when required.
• Guiding and overseeing other apprentices or journeyman electricians.
• Providing assistance during emergencies.
• Installing conduit ¾” to 1 ¼” and pulling wire.

Qualifications

• Experience with 480/277, 120/208.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years experience as a Commercial/Industrial Electrician.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license.
• Experience with power tools and other equipment used in construction.
• Arrive at work on time, as scheduled, consistently, reliably, & complete each shift.
• Follow all safety rules and standards for the company and for the site.
• Understand and follow Instructions from the direct supervisor.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years experience as a Commercial/Industrial Electrician.

• The job requires the ability to operate a standard 1/2 ton pick-up for occasional delivery and pick-up of materials and personnel.

• The job requires the ability to operate a standard desktop computer keyboard.
