About the role
Vortex Industrial Doors is seeking a Commercial & Industrial Door Systems Field Technician to join our team in Hayward, CA. This position will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing various industrial door systems.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair issues with industrial doors and related equipment
- Install new industrial doors and associated hardware
- Provide technical support to customers regarding door systems
- Travel to customer sites as needed to perform maintenance and repairs
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial door installation and maintenance
- Knowledge of industrial door systems and components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with industrial machinery and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
Skills
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

Pay
The pay rate is 23 - 32.75 USD per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
