Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and calibrate commercial HVAC/R systems
  • Solve problems independently and as part of a team
  • Communicate effectively with customers and support staff
  • Keep your van stocked and tools sharp
  • Deliver quality service and integrity daily
  • Be a reliable resource for nights, weekends, and on-call emergencies
  • Invest in your skills through training and certifications

Requirements

  • Universal EPA certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 2+ years in commercial HVAC — refrigeration experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating principles
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic technology skills — ability to navigate mobile apps and documentation
  • Ability to pass a background check

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and frequently move heavy objects
  • Comfort working in extreme temperatures and tight spaces, including attics, basements, and crawl spaces
  • Strong balance and coordination for climbing ladders and working at heights of 45 feet or higher
  • Endurance to stand or kneel for extended periods
  • Dexterity for tasks such as connecting electrical components and making precise measurements
  • Required to follow all applicable safety procedures

Pay

The base pay for this position is up to $45 an hour, based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
