Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and calibrate commercial HVAC/R systems
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and work independently or as part of a team
- Maintain clear communication with customers and support staff
- Keep your van stocked and tools sharp
- Deliver quality service and integrity daily
- Serve as a reliable resource for nights, weekends, and on-call emergencies
- Invest in your skills through training and certifications
- Pass a background check and maintain a valid driver’s license
Requirements
- Universal EPA certification
- Valid driver’s license
- 2+ years in commercial HVAC — refrigeration experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating principles
- Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic technology skills — ability to navigate mobile apps and documentation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and frequently move heavy objects
- Comfort working in extreme temperatures and tight spaces, including attics, basements, and crawl spaces
- Strong balance and coordination for climbing ladders and working at heights of 45 feet or higher
- Endurance to stand or kneel for extended periods
- Dexterity for tasks such as connecting electrical components and making precise measurements
- Required to follow all applicable safety procedures
Pay
The base pay for this position is up to $45 an hour, based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
