Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and package units.
• Conduct repairs on various HVAC systems and components as needed.
• Install new HVAC systems and ensure they are functioning properly before completing the job.
• Collaborate with the building automation systems team to integrate controls and improve system efficiency.
• Respond to service calls and provide timely solutions to customer issues.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and cooling towers.
• Familiarity with building automation systems and controls is a plus.
• EPA certification is required.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
