Commercial HVAC-R Service Technician

Requirements

• 3+ years of HVAC field service experience
• 2+ years of commercial refrigeration experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent customer communication skills
• Ability to confidently recommend repair and replacement solutions
• NATE Certification is a plus
• Experience servicing a broad range of commercial HVAC‑R equipment is preferred
• Self‑motivated professional with leadership potential is a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Evaluate equipment and recommend repair or replacement solutions
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues
• Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently
• Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional service
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to support commercial clients

Pay

Salary range: $30+ per hour, based on experience, with performance spiffs and incentives. Top technicians earn $85,000‑$100,000+ annually.

Schedule

Full‑Time position in Columbia, SC. Regular schedule Monday through Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule.
