Commercial HVAC Dispatcher

About the role

Schebler Company, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a dedicated Commercial HVAC Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring outstanding service to our customers and supporting our skilled service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming service calls promptly, schedule service calls, address inquiries, and resolve complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
• Schedule or dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations based on customer requests, specifications, or needs
• Review and coordinate all incoming paperwork from service technicians, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Verify billing data accuracy, revise errors, and prepare itemized statements, bills, or invoices, recording amounts due for items purchased or services rendered
• Maintain the master mailer and PSA listing, ensuring up-to-date and accurate records
• Call PSA customers, schedule appointments, and ensure proactive communication to meet customer needs
• Work as a team player in the Service, Residential, and HVAC departments to foster a positive work environment and achieve departmental goals
• Perform other duties as assigned, showcasing flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least two years of dispatching and/or customer service experience preferred

• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Able to work effectively with a diverse group of people
• Must be customer service-driven
• Proficient in computer skills using various office software packages, including MS Office and Outlook
