About the role
Perfect Pavers of South Florida, a premier commercial hardscape and paving contractor serving the South Florida market, is seeking a detail-oriented Traveling Commercial Paver Superintendent to lead multi-site field operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Multi-Site Leadership: Travel daily to active job sites across South Florida (within a 2-hour radius of Pompano Beach) to supervise commercial paver and hardscape installation crews.
- Procore Management: Accurately log daily productivity, manpower, equipment usage, and site conditions using Procore’s Daily Log tool.
- Schedule Execution: Manage daily workflows and project timelines to meet critical deadlines without compromising quality.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and execute project plans, site specifications, and shop drawings.
- Site Logistics: Coordinate material deliveries, crew sequencing, and workflow alignment with general contractors and other trades.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary field liaison between Project Managers, clients, general contractors, and internal crews.
- Safety & Quality Control: Enforce strict OSHA safety protocols on all sites and conduct continuous quality control inspections.
- Field Resolution: Proactively identify potential site delays or logistical challenges and collaborate with the project team to implement swift solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, Foreman, or equivalent field management role in commercial construction, paving, or hardscapes.
- Strong proficiency in Procore, specifically daily reporting and site management tools.
- Deep understanding of commercial blueprints, project sequencing, and paver/hardscape installation methods.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, schedule, and motivate multiple field crews simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to travel extensively throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly desirable.
- Procore Certification (Superintendent or Project Manager).
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and navigate uneven terrain on active construction sites for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme South Florida heat.
Compensation
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
