Commercial Glazier

Responsibilities

• Install commercial aluminum storefronts, glazing systems, and structural sealants according to design specifications.
• Execute precision installations of commercial steel doors, hardware, and specialized entry systems.
• Perform service and maintenance tasks including replacing failed or damaged insulating glass units.
• Repair and adjust worn or damaged door hardware to ensure optimal client facility security and functionality.
• Travel to regional commercial job sites while utilizing paid travel accommodations and per diem allowances.
• Maintain high safety standards using company-provided gear, fall protection, and lift equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of proven hands-on experience in the commercial glass and glazing industry.
• Demonstrated ability to install and service storefronts, curtain walls, and commercial door assemblies.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel outside a 30-mile radius for project assignments (approximately 10% travel).

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in commercial glass installation and service.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards, fall protection protocols, and aerial lift operations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for commercial hardware and glass replacement.

Pay

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour (based on experience).
