Responsibilities
- Provide financial analysis and decision support related to business performance, pricing, profitability, margins, and commercial initiatives.
- Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, strategic planning, and business performance review processes.
- Support sales incentive plan analysis and reporting.
- Analyze business results and key performance indicators, identify trends and variances, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Evaluate customer, product, channel, pricing, rebate, and promotional program profitability to support business decisions and margin improvement.
- Develop and maintain financial models, scenario analyses, forecasts, and business cases to assess risks and opportunities.
- Create and enhance Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools that improve visibility, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to provide trusted financial guidance and support commercial growth initiatives.
- Challenge assumptions, improve decision quality, and communicate insights in clear, business-friendly language with a variety of stakeholders.
This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Finance and is based onsite at our Brookfield, WI headquarters 4-5 days/week. Relocation and sponsorship are not available for this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related financial work experience required.
- 5-7 years of progressive FP&A, commercial finance, or business analysis experience.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry; chemical manufacturing preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Strong financial modeling skills.
- Experience with building and maintaining Power BI dashboards preferred.
- Experience with SQL, Power Query, or Snowflake is a plus.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, and business intelligence systems (e.g., Power BI), and AI agents preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time for plant and business engagement.

Physical Requirements
- Office Environment:
- Able to work at a computer for extended periods.
- Able to use standard office equipment (computer, keyboard, mouse).
- Occasionally moves or transports objects (such as laptop or files) weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Travel & Plant Environment:
- Able to travel up to 5% of the time, including overnight travel, to manufacturing plant locations or customer sites.
- During plant visits, the role involves moving through industrial areas and may involve periods of standing or walking.
- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated plant or production areas, including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed footwear, and other site-specific PPE.
- Able to tolerate exposure to hot, cold, and noisy environments during plant visits.
