Commercial Estimator and Project Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Estimator and Project Manager to lead the planning, estimation, and execution of complex infrastructure and commercial construction projects. Duties Prepare accurate and competitive construction estimates utilizing advanced estimating software and/or estimating company.Develop detailed project budgets, schedules, and resource plans aligned with project specifications and client requirements.Lead project planning sessions to establish scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables while coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.Manage project schedules.Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and contractual obligations.Coordinate procurement of materials and subcontractors while managing contracts and change orders efficiently.Supervise project teams by providing leadership in construction management practices, fostering collaboration, and ensuring high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.Monitor project costs regularly to maintain budget control; implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety.Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project execution accurately.Ensure all projects adhere to local construction regulations and environmental standards while maintaining documentation for regulatory compliance.Facilitate communication across all stakeholders through regular progress updates, meetings, and detailed reporting. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating.Strong background in construction management with hands-on experience.Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from start to finish including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.Excellent blueprint reading skills along with knowledge of construction plans and schematics.Familiarity with construction regulations, safety standards, permits, and environmental compliance requirements.Effective leadership skills with experience managing teams in a construction management role.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
