POSITION OVERVIEW

Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE: FNF) is a leading provider of title insurance and transaction services to the real estate and mortgage industries. This role can sit in our Franklin, TN and/or our Louisville, KY office. Occasional overtime may be required to meet transaction deadlines.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and process escrow transactions in accordance with instructions from real estate agents, brokers, attorneys, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction.
  • Ensure full compliance with all terms outlined in the Purchase and Sale Agreement, lender instructions, title underwriting guidelines, and company procedures.
  • Review and address all matters listed in the Preliminary Title Commitment, including lien payoffs, Deeds of Trust, and any title-related issues such as probates, divorces, or land use classifications.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation required to close the transaction accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Cook up and conduct signing appointments with buyers and sellers, ensuring all parties understand and complete the required paperwork.
  • Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of funds at closing in accordance with transaction requirements and company policies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, preferably within title and escrow operations.
  • A solid understanding of industry-standard practices, concepts, and procedures in the title/escrow field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with various computer applications and title production software.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Detail-oriented and professional; able to handle confidential information.
  • Able to juggle many duties and meet multiple deadlines.
  • High level of stress tolerance and emotional resilience; ability to maintain an even disposition in the face of conflict or in a crisis.
  • Strong energy and drive; self-starting, strong work ethic and work habits, accountable for one's own actions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to build collaborative relationships with co-workers and the parties to the transaction.
  • Able to produce a high volume of work accurately on a consistent basis.
  • A good team player; willing to reach out to other staff to assist; willing to accept help from others when needed.
