MTU Maintenance Dallas provides hospital shop and on-site maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Perform shop-level work both in the MTU Maintenance shop and in the field, domestically and internationally, as job scopes warrant.
- Ensure compliance with FAA and EASA requirements for return to service engines and aircraft.
- Comply with FAA, EASA, and Company Policies and procedures.
- Teach others on work scopes and assist engineers in testing and troubleshooting equipment.
- Conduct heavy lifting of equipment and materials.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and update equipment records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Assist in general shop maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Experience with Borescope inspections, top and bottom case compressor repairs, module removal and installation, engine change and QEC, AD and SB modifications, hot section replacements and repairs, configuration change, fan blade replacement, and lease return inspections.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to take responsibility and work overtime as required.
- Work as a team member.
- Excellent work ethic and motivation for a high standard of work.
- Leadership qualities.
- Passport Preferred or the ability to obtain one.
- Global travel as required.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and reflect a positive image with customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred; A&P License is acceptable but must have Powerplant license at the very least.
- Must have large engine experience in a setting other than line maintenance. Military Experience is acceptable if the experience is from an engine shop background.
Skills
- Prolonged periods of physical ergonomics.
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
