Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) is seeking a highly accomplished Commercial Electrician to support facility infrastructure and fabrication operations in our Gilbert, AZ location. This role is ideal for an early-career electrician with hands-on skills in conduit work and drawing interpretation, looking to grow in a fast-paced, varied shop environment where reliability and initiative drive advancement.

About the role

The Commercial Electrician will support Facilities and Fabrication Operations, collaborating with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to maintain mission-ready infrastructure and equipment. Electrical readiness directly impacts production uptime, giving this role visibility with operations leadership when infrastructure issues intersect with program schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Perform rough-in and finish electrical work across facility and production-support systems in accordance with code and job specifications.
  • Fabricate, bend, cut, and install conduit accurately and efficiently, including offsets and multi-bend runs, to meet layout and inspection requirements.
  • Read and apply construction drawings and wiring diagrams to execute work correctly the first time, minimizing rework and downtime.
  • Lift and transport electrical materials and equipment up to 50 lbs. safely across the facility.
  • Coordinate with facilities, maintenance, and production teams to sequence electrical work around active operations without disrupting schedules.
  • Assist with non-electrical, job-related tasks as needed to support broader facility and production priorities.
  • Perform work safely and effectively across hot and cold weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
  • Maintain punctual, dependable attendance and flex into overtime, including potential weekends, when program needs require it.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of hands-on commercial electrical experience.
  • Demonstrated conduit-bending skill (offsets, saddles, and multi-bend runs).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying environmental conditions.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Company provides all major tools and equipment.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Primarily on-site work with regular requirements to sit, stand, operate tools, climb stairs, and communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to lift 25–50 pounds.
  • Ability to travel, including potential OCONUS travel, as program needs require.
