Commercial Electrical Inspector

About the role

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Electrical Inspector to support a large-scale data center project. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a mission-critical commercial construction project while partnering with a highly respected team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional inspection services.

Requirements

• Perform field inspections during all phases of commercial electrical construction for a data center project.
• Read and examine electrical plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Inspect installations for compliance with applicable electrical codes and approved plans.
• Report violations, prepare inspection reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
• ICC Electrical Inspector Certification preferred.
• Commercial electrical inspection experience required; data center experience strongly preferred.
• Municipal inspection experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record required.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), commercial electrical systems, and current construction practices.
• Ability to interpret codes in the field and provide practical, code-compliant solutions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with contractors, clients, and project teams.
• Excellent time management, organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Pay

$67-$74/hr

Schedule

Full-time position with frequent driving between inspection sites and company locations within a region.
