Commercial Electrical Estimator

Key Responsibilities

• Build commercial electrical estimates from drawings and project documents
• Perform electrical takeoffs and review bid packages
• Pricing labor, material, equipment, and electrical scopes
• Gather and qualify vendor, supplier, and subcontractor pricing
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, risks, and clarifications
• Support value engineering and budget-level estimating
• Maintain cost data and estimating records
• Cook up with project management for awarded project handoff

Requirements

• Electrical estimating experience in commercial construction
• Electrical contractor or electrical subcontractor background preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and installation methods
• Experience reviewing drawings, specs, and scopes of work
• Familiarity with supplier pricing, bid preparation, and preconstruction
• Trimble Accubid / Accubid experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required with strong electrical estimating experience
