Commercial Electrical Estimator

About the role

We are a growing commercial electrical contractor serving Southwestern Pennsylvania and are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who can accurately prepare competitive estimates and help drive the continued success of our company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial electrical projects.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Collaborate with customers throughout the bidding process.
• Assist with value engineering and budgeting opportunities.
• Maintain organized bid documentation and estimating records.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating commercial electrical construction projects.
• Experience with healthcare facilities, higher education projects, and commercial tenant fit-outs/build-outs is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and applicable codes.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
