Commercial Door Technician

About the role

The Commercial Door Service Technician position at Overhead Door Company of the High Country™ is a rewarding opportunity within the DH Pace family. This role involves repairing a variety of commercial door and hardware systems, including roll-up doors, dock equipment, high-speed rolling doors, and commercial entry doors. The ideal candidate should have a background in construction labor, electrical work, carpentry, and/or installing and servicing products, as well as mechanic experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Repair a wide range of commercial door and door hardware including roll-up doors also known as dock doors, dock equipment, high speed rolling doors and commercial entry doors
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner
• Operate in a safety-conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• A High School Diploma/GED (preferred)
• At least one (1+) year experience in commercial door industry preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
