Description Service Advisor Job Description: Vortex Doors, America’s highest quality and most customer-centric commercial and industrial door repair company, is seeking a motivated Commercial Door Estimator to join our company. We are considering applicants with at least 4+ years of door industry experience. As a Commercial Door Estimator, your primary responsibility is to provide products and services to Customers, promote long term Customer retention, and follow through with the Internal Customer Service Team to ensure the Customer is satisfied with the work we performed. Responsibilities Work with Customers to provide accurate and suitable products and services to meet their needsFollow up on leads provided and look for new opportunities, looking for ways to generate business and new leadsWork with the Team Leader and Service Manager to achieve sales goalsFollow up on all pending Service Quotes in a set time frameProvide some technical training to Service TechniciansManage and order shop and truck materials as neededAssist in Customer job scheduling and project managementProvide the best Vortex experience possibleBuild valuable relationships with all Customers, including key accountsAlways promote Vortex positivelyUsing lead generation tools, identify commercial and industrial construction projects that may require overhead doors, initiating contact with the general contractor and/or architect to gather project information and provide information on our products and services.Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for new construction projects.Complete cost estimates within bid date/time.Present and explain the benefits of our services to potential clients.Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.Provide excellent customer service by following up on leads, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining long-term relationships.Collaborate with the service and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of services and customer satisfaction.Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress in the CRM system. Without the ability to listen carefully to what a Customer is saying, the message could be easily misunderstood and misinterpretedResults driven and passionate about selling: Be passionate about the products and services we provide and strive to provide what’s best for the Customer and the CompanyInterpersonal skills: Balance Customer’s and Company’s needs to make sure that the Customer is satisfied, and build a reputation as a person who is consistent and direct while still seeking to be helpful What You Should Have Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Experience in field service and commercial door experience a mustExperience in sales and customer serviceOther required knowledge, skills, and abilities:Ability to read, understand, and comprehend documents such as work instructions and procedure manualsAbility to speak effectively and interact with team members and leadershipAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in a situationBasic computer knowledge and ability to learnA good driving record with valid driver's license Work Conditions Full-time shifts are available between Vortex business hours of 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday and must be able to work some overtime and on-call hours.Continuous on-going training provided as you continue to grow with Vortex.The job environment is fast paced and results oriented.Be able to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid driver license.Must pass Drug test, Background check and Motor Vehicle check
