Brief Job Overview
As part of our mission to advance scientific rigor and public health standards, you will play a vital role in increasing global access to high-quality medicines through public standards and related programs. USP prioritizes scientific integrity, regulatory excellence, and evidence-based decision-making to ensure health systems worldwide can rely on strong, tested, and globally relevant quality standards.
Who is USP Looking For?
- Demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, health administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience working with GPOs, and understanding of the pharmacy purchasing business model.
- At least 5 years of proven experience leading complex projects/ initiatives focused on clear business objectives (could include leading projects in strategy consulting setting or leading other large business initiatives with clear objectives and outcomes).
- At least 5 years’ experience in role involving external facing/ customer facing responsibilities.
- Deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical supply chain.
- Health system or medical supply chain experience.
- Highly organized with strong execution skills and results orientation.
- Ability to influence effectively across complex organizations to achieve results.
- Client and solution focused, with ability to actively listen and adapt approach to meet client needs.
- Strong communication skills with ability to adapt messaging by audience.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to navigate and resolve ambiguity.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of time.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position will supervise external resource(s) engaged on a part time basis to support program demand generation. The role will also be assigned a project management resource on a 25 – 50% basis to support implementation.

Compensation
- Base Salary Range: USD $165,521.00 – $213,700.00 annually.
- Target Annual Bonus: % Varies based on level of role.
- Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate’s skill set, experience, qualifications, equity, and other job-related reasons.
