About the role

Join Waukesha State Bank as a Credit Analyst & Portfolio Manager, supporting the Commercial Banking Team. You will partner closely with Senior Credit Analysts and the Chief Credit Officer to evaluate loan applicants, analyze financial statements and tax returns, and prepare comprehensive loan presentations that support sound credit decisions. The role also involves industry research, participation in credit committee discussions, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations while building a strong foundation in commercial lending and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the creditworthiness of loan applicants.
• Analyze financial statements and tax returns.
• Prepare comprehensive loan presentations for credit decisions.
• Conduct industry research to support credit analyses.
• Participate in credit committee discussions.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage an assigned loan portfolio, including renewals, modifications, new credit requests, and ongoing servicing.
• Work directly with customers and lenders to address portfolio needs.
