Commercial Contracts Attorney (Remote and Contract)

About the role

Latitude is looking for an attorney with 7+ years of legal experience in both law firm and an in-house legal department handling all aspects of a wide variety of commercial contracts for an exciting opportunity with a technology-based virtual law firm. This opportunity is completely remote and candidates can be located anywhere.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a wide variety of technology related commercial contracts
• Interface extensively with clients on the drafting and review of commercial contracts

Requirements

• 7+ years of legal experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a variety of commercial contracts
• Experience handling technology related commercial contracts in both law firm and in-house settings
• Extensive experience interfacing with clients on the drafting and reviewing of commercial contracts
• Excellent academic credentials from a U.S. accredited law school
• Strong communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate legal issues with nonlawyers at an organization
• Capability and experience to work independently and with a team
• Outstanding references
• Licensed and in good standing in the state of residence

Qualifications

• Significant experience handling contracts related to AI is preferred
• Experience handling contracts which include fintech/crypto, data privacy and/or IP licensing issues is also preferred

Pay

The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $200,000 to $250,000. Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location.
