Commercial Contracts Attorney
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Advise clients on commercial contracting matters.
- Collaborate with clients and experienced attorneys on life sciences contracting matters, including clinical trials and research and development work.
- Build trusted client relationships in a remote, client-facing environment.
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture while continuing to develop expertise in the life sciences sector.
Qualifications
- Approximately 5 to 7 years of relevant legal experience.
- Strong background in commercial contracts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving skills.
- Active admission to the California Bar is preferred, with candidates located in California strongly preferred.
- Preferred Skills: Exposure to life sciences contracting, including clinical trials and R&D work. Experience is not required in the life sciences industry; candidates with strong commercial contracts experience who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply.
Pay
The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
