Position Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Contract Specialist to support the sales team. This position plays a key role in supporting the Commercial Team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards. The Commercial Contract Specialist supports the contract process through drafting and development of agreements between Gifthealth and pharmaceutical and medical technology companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports contract management by initiating draft NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and amendments; coordinating scope development with Sales and Operational SMEs; assisting Legal with document formatting and tracking; and maintaining accurate contract files and status updates in the Contract Tracker
- Utilizes corporate templates as provided by the Legal team.
- Analyzes agreement documents to identify requirements from proposals and/or other materials to appropriately describe legal requirements, scope, timeline, and budget.
- Analyze and review externally provided client agreements and client changes to Gifthealth agreements.
- Utilize Contract SOPs to track renewals and maintain accurate records.
- Led the full contract development process—including document creation, SME and leadership coordination, review cycles, and feedback integration—and manages final packaging and submission to the appropriate client or business development channels.
- Maintains contract libraries and templates to streamline development.
- Participates in Commercial Team meetings, provide input and support as required.
- Completes other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, business administration, or related field (Required)
- Licensure/Certification: None
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in patient access support, contract management, client management (Required)
- Proficiency with document management and contract management systems (Google Suite and Office 365) (Required)
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Knowledge of contract administration principles and processes; budgeting, and pricing fundamentals; commercial pharmacy industry, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries; CRM and related digital technologies
- Procurement laws, regulations, and industry standards, (Required)
- Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical-related commercial contracting regulations (Required)
- Knowledge of federal and state contracting policies and regulations, particularly as pertains to HIPAA and patient privacy (Preferred)
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills (Required)
- Advanced organizational, time management, and project coordination skills (Required)
- Advanced analytical skills and attention to details (Required)
- Ability to interpret complex contract requirements and documents (Required)
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage end-to-end contract workflows (Required)
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing conditions (Required)

Work Environment
Location: Remote
Schedule: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday with night and weekend hours on occasion as determined by the needs of the business.
Regular meetings with internal Commercial, Legal, and senior leadership teams. This role may also have limited participation in meetings with external clients and vendors.
Salary Description
$54,200–$93,600
