What You'll Do At Monteith As a Superintendent, you will manage the overall day-to-day supervision of field-related construction activities. This includes maintaining a safe work environment, conducting LEAN planning and construction scheduling, managing cost and quality control, coordinating trade partners, and strengthening relationships by ensuring the highest customer satisfaction. Build and maintain Owner, Architect, Trade Partner & Supplier relationshipsEnsure that all projects are performed by contract and quality standardsSchedule and direct the daily activities of work and take necessary actions to ensure that the project objectives of cleanliness, safety, price, schedule, quality, and process are metMaintain daily paperwork; timecards, field reports, schedule updates, RFIs, and E-mail correspondenceImplement project schedules ensuring upcoming events are on track and being proactively attended toPromote and maintain safety, health, and cleanliness on the job siteConduct and attend pre-construction, progress, and other project and staff meetingsParticipate in training and other forms of continuous improvement initiatives Experience You Should Have 3+ years of experience in supervising commercial constructionAbility to work non-traditional hoursExcellent organizational, Communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office suiteExperience with construction management software (Procore), a plus but not requiredAbility to travel Required To Thrill At Monteith No Brilliant Jerks.
