Commercial Construction Project Manager

About the Role
You will serve as a high-impact leader managing the design and execution of premier self-storage facilities across the Southeast. This role empowers you to oversee multi-million dollar projects from inception to completion while managing diverse field teams. You will drive excellence in a company that has completed over $100 million in projects and values professional accountability.
Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day operations for multiple commercial projects to ensure strict adherence to timelines and safety standards.
- Supervise and mentor field Superintendents to guarantee high-quality installations and compliance with company protocols.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and building owners to define complex project scopes and build-out requirements.
- Develop and manage comprehensive construction schedules using Microsoft Project to maintain project transparency.
- Manage project budgets, estimates, and change orders to ensure financial objectives and cost-control measures are met.
- Facilitate project closeout procedures, including punch lists and client walkthroughs, to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
- Proven ability to lead field Superintendents and manage multi-site project teams.
- Strong proficiency in reading construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word for project documentation.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites throughout the East Coast as required.
- Valid driver’s license.
Pay
$100,000 - $130,000 per year (based on experience) plus performance bonus.
