Commercial Construction Project Executive
Responsibilities
- Maintains adherence to HITT’s standards of safety
- Ensures all job processes are followed in accordance with HITT policies
- Negotiates terms and conditions of contracts with clients
- Monitors the progress of each project through updated schedules
- Ensures the project Quality Control Plan is followed
- Aids project staff in resolving scope problems with subcontractors
- Ensures proper assignment and evaluation of field personnel
- Identifies and negotiates time extensions where justified and allowed
- Acquires new work as well as maintaining existing clients
- Maintains positive relationships with the subcontractor community
- Ensures timely completion of closeout process
- Leads the preconstruction and RFP package effort with the help of the Preconstruction Department and/or other company resources
- Delegates responsibility when necessary to ensure project/task smoothness
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, including healthcare construction project experience
- A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business (strongly preferred)
- In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable
- Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects and/or simultaneously
- Mastery of sector/project-specific software systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite (ex. Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.), ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards
- Mastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related drawings
- Knowledge of current market conditions including pricing conventions and trends
- Strong ability to carry oneself as a leader and facilitate the decision-making process
- Positive attitude and passion for construction and the industry

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $163,350.00 - $217,800.00, in accordance with California's Labor Code Section 432.3. Compensation in other cities and states may vary.
