Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial and civil construction projects
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Prepare bid proposals, scopes, and supporting documentation
• Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to align estimates with operational plans
• Maintain current cost data, production rates, and vendor relationships
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits

Requirements

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial, civil, or related construction sectors
• Strong proficiency in estimating software and quantity takeoff tools
• Solid understanding of construction means, methods, and industry pricing
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage deadlines
• Strong communicator who can work collaboratively with internal and external partners
