Key Responsibilities
- Aid the Project Manager with all aspects of project execution
- Support the Superintendent with coordination and day-to-day jobsite needs
- Maintain document control for all project records and correspondence
- Manage and support technology platforms and project management software
- Aid with schedule development, buyout, and pre-construction planning
- Support procurement and inventory management of materials and services
- Generate, process, and maintain project logs including RFIs, submittals, photos, and reports
- Prepare, process, and distribute Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Prepare, process, and distribute Submittals
- Aid with change management documentation and tracking
- Assist with material management, including delivery timing, quantities, and logistics
- Generate and distribute meeting agendas and meeting minutes
- Assist with subcontractor meetings, OAC meetings, and pre-installation meetings
- Aid with quality control and quality management efforts across the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial construction preferred
- Prior on-site experience as a Project Engineer or Project Management Role preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
- Working knowledge of construction processes from groundbreaking through closeout
- Exposure to steel, concrete, masonry, and wood-framed construction (multi-family, hospitality, student housing, senior living)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, on-site environment
- Proficiency with construction software and Microsoft Office tools
- Willingness to travel throughout Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Florida, primarily within a 3-hour radius of Atlanta
