About the role

As a CBRE, GDS Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for basic cleaning duties, ensuring the cleanliness of your assigned areas. This role requires a regular five-day workweek, including availability to work either Saturday or Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, which includes moving and rearranging furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Ensure that cleaning supplies are stored in a safe, secure area at all times.
• Complete standardized cleaning processes as per company standards.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Attend all regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having limited discretion.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• 2 years of job-related experience (required).

Skills

• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and moving furniture.
• Ability to follow basic work routines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Inquisitive mindset with the ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Working Conditions

Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.75 per hour.
