Commercial Business Manager

About the Role

Roto-Rooter, America’s premier plumbing and drain cleaning company, is excited about its future and has an opportunity available for a Commercial Business Manager at our Jacksonville branch. The primary responsibility of this role is to grow commercial sales by developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing commercial customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop additional business opportunities by selling Roto-Rooter’s preventative maintenance and priority care programs.
• Spend the majority of time in the field visiting existing and prospective commercial customers to establish relationships.
• Assist the National Sales Team with processing work orders and ensure paperwork is completed in accordance with approved standardized procedures.
• Conduct job completion follow-up with customers to ensure satisfactory completion of work performed by jet technicians and commercial field supervisors.
• Manage productivity of commercial jet techs and commercial field supervisors to ensure attainment of performance goals.
• Join local trade associations and participate in tradeshows and events when applicable.
• Provide coaching and counseling to jet technicians and commercial field supervisors who are not meeting published production goals, and establish performance improvement goals.
• Oversee scheduling of jet techs and commercial field supervisors to ensure adequate manpower coverage for all required work.
• Develop relationships with customers to build customer loyalty.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of sales and management experience.
• Commercial sales experience with a proven year-over-year record of successful development and growth of a territory.
• Sound problem-solving skills and good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record according to company policy.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $85,000-$90,000, depending on experience. There is also an opportunity for a branch performance-based bonus.
