About the role
Johnson Financial Group, Wisconsin’s largest privately held, family‑owned financial services institution, is offering an 11‑week rotational internship in Commercial Banking. The internship is designed to give you real experience, meaningful connections, and a solid foundation for a career in Commercial Banking. You will work alongside Credit and Commercial Banking professionals, receive structured rotations, and gain hands‑on exposure to client‑focused work.
Program structure and learning areas
- Credit: Learn the 5 C’s of Credit and gain exposure to the credit analysis process alongside the Credit team.
- Sales: Attend client meetings with Commercial Banking Relationship Managers and observe how strong client relationships are built and supported.
- Treasury Management: Partner with the Treasury Management team to gain insight into consultative sales and the products and solutions that help clients manage their business needs.
Beyond day‑to‑day banking experience, interns can connect with the Executive Team during orientation, participate in a community volunteer event at the Hunger Task Force, take part in the Light the Hoan Internship Challenge, and enjoy additional networking, learning, and community‑focused activities throughout the summer.
Qualifications
- Actively seeking a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; involvement in a Commercial Banking club or program preferred.
- Junior standing.
- Involvement in a Finance Association highly desired.
