About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Relationship Manager with the desire to focus on acquiring new business in the Treasure Valley. This is a great opportunity for an outgoing individual to use their skills in calling on companies while learning and growing credit skills. The position can be based in either our Nampa, ID office or downtown Boise, ID office. Join an energetic and innovative group that supports traditional commercial and industrial lending nationwide, primarily assisting businesses with capital expenditure and working capital needs in the production, manufacturing, and service sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and service a wide variety of commercial loans.
  • Contribute to deposit growth by cross-selling and promoting additional banking products.
  • Aggressively seek and obtain quality new business through client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross-selling efforts.
  • Develop skills in applicant interviewing, perceptive character judgment, loan structuring, credit analysis, and monitoring credit performance.
  • Build and maintain relationships, ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in banking, finance, or a related field and 1 to 2 years of credit-associated lending experience, or 4+ years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Demonstrated sales and calling skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, and/or lending.
  • Ability to expand loans, client relationships, and cross-sell bank products.
  • Familiarity with sales, loan processing, and closing processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
